About me

I’m Kat Mather, a design thinking facilitator and leadership partner.

For over 25 years, I worked across design, marketing, communication, technology and operations. Often acting as the translator between different disciplines, teams and priorities.

Again and again, I saw the same pattern: smart, capable people stuck in firefighting mode. Leaders carrying too much alone. Teams full of knowledge, but not always heard. Strategies that made sense on paper, but struggled to connect with day-to-day reality.

That is why I moved from design management into facilitation and co-creation.

Today, I help leaders and teams cut through noise, uncover root issues and create clarity, ownership and momentum through practical design thinking methods.

I believe the best leaders do not have all the answers.

They know how to bring the right people together to find them.
